The famous Bran Castle, about an hour’s drive from Peles. Known as "Dracula’s Castle," Bran’s Gothic appearance and dramatic hilltop setting create a mysterious allure. The castle museum offers insights into the legends of Vlad the Impaler and Transylvanian history. After exploring the rooms and hidden staircases, enjoy local treats and souvenirs at the nearby market.

In order to protect them and their exceptional heritage, entrance tickets are purchased on hourly intervals, limited to 2000 people/day at Peleș Castle and 1500 people/day at Pelișor Castle. Starting July 1st, high season begins, therefore we recommend that you purchase your tickets to Peles in advance.
