08:30–10:30 – Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
See giant pandas, red pandas, and nursery areas (subject to daily operations). Morning is the best time to see pandas active and feeding.

13:30–16:30 – Leshan Giant Buddha Visit

What to expect

  1. Tianfu Square
    Pass by
    Departure point: Free pick-up and drop-off at Chengdu hotels or residences (all hotels within the Third Ring Road). If you live outside the Third Ring Road, please contact us in advance to arrange a vehicle to pick you up at the hotel and pay the driver extra.
    Return point: Return to the original departure point or get off at Tianfu Square.

    8:00: The driver will pick you up from a hotel within the Third Ring Road of Chengdu
    8:00-9:00: 60 minutes by car to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
    9:00-11:30: Visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
    11:30-12:30: Lunch
    12:30-15:00: 2.5 hours by car to Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area
    15:00-17:00: It is recommended to take a cruise to visit the Buddha, the view will be better

    Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area, hiking. The tour guide accompanied the explanation throughout the entire process. The Buddha statue is 71 meters high, 18 meters higher than the 53 meter high Mian Buddha in Afghanistan, and is known as the "Buddha is a mountain, the mountain is a Buddha". And you can visit the Zen Rim, Lingyun Temple, the Shakya ManiHall, the nine winding plank road, the confluence of the three rivers, and the Lingbao Tower.

If you live outside the Third Ring Road, you will need to be picked up at the main entrance of Wuhou Temple, or please contact us in advance to arrange to pick you up from your hotel and pay an additional fee to the driver. Return point: Return to the original departure point or drop off in the city center
