Overview

Visit some of the most famous delicacies of Emilia-Romagna in a day by visiting small local producers of Parmigiano cheese and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Savor typical products and explore the Ferrari and Lamborghini Museums. You will visit family-run factories in the countryside between Modena and Bologna to learn more about Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and Balsamic Vinegar. All visits will be conducted by the producers’ staff, so none of your questions will go unanswered.

After the tours, you will enjoy guided tastings of local products. A light lunch aimed at exploring the gastronomic pairing of local food and balsamic vinegar will take place at the premises of a balsamic producer. While in the area, your experience wouldn't be complete without visiting the Ferrari Museum to see the most famous supercar brand of all time, as well as the Lamborghini Museum to explore the fascinating history and groundbreaking creations of the genius Ferruccio Lamborghini.

DAIRY FARM / We will start our tour with a guided visit at a cheese factory and learn how aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is produced. After the visit, you with proceed with a tasting of different ages of Organic Parmigiano Reggiano, Ricotta and Caciotta cheese, Balsamic Vinegar and Marmalade, a glass of local wine and water.

BALSAMIC VINEGAR / Then we will continue with a visit to an “Acetaia” and discover the production of the famous “black gold”, the precious traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena, which you will be able to taste at the end of your guided tour.

If you arrive by train, please select Bologna FS or Piazza Medaglie d'Oro. We strongly recommend to contact us before booking your train, as we could advise on the best suitable arrival time. In case of a strike, cancellations or other changes in trains schedule, you assume full responsibility, the reservation cannot be moved to another day last minute.
Due to ongoing tram construction in Bologna, certain streets in the city center may be temporarily closed or inaccessible for vehicle pickup. If your accommodation is in one of these restricted areas, please select one of the indicated pickup locations as a meeting point.
