Spoiler Alert - If you're looking for the typical tourist trail, this isn't the tour for you. As an award-winning photographer and former New Yorker turned full-time Valencia resident — not your typical tour guide — I offer an experience that goes beyond the usual tour, blending creativity, insight, and discovery. At the first stop, you’ll experience a brief yet impactful introduction to the "Art of Observation" and you'll learn to see beyond the surface and capture the deeper beauty around you. I won’t reveal all the locations we’ll visit in advance because they aren’t the typical tourist spots you can find on a map. Instead, I’ll guide you to hidden alleys, unique street corners, and special viewpoints of Valencia that only locals know. Most importantly, we'll have a great time together in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere as we explore the lesser-known parts of my city. And not to worry if you don't have a camera, about half of the people use their mobile phone on my tour.

    In addition to these gardens, we will have other stops along the way that include hidden alleys, unique street corners, and special viewpoints of Valencia that only locals know. One highlight is a brief "Art of Observation" exercise during which I will teach you the basics of how to improve your observation skills which is absolutely essential for photography.

Meeting point

We will meet in front of the Jardins de Montfort at the address above. Please be prompt and bring water and a smile.

End point

We will finish at the Cafetería del ETNO which is hidden local bar and like my tour...off-the-beaten-path. Since I am a caring and generous human being, I will buy you a beer, wine, coffee or water to say thanks for joining me! On Mondays, we will finish at a nearby location because ETNO is closed.
