All the thrills of a jet boat ride without getting wet! The Niagara Gorge Domed Jet Boat Ride speeds down the Niagara River and past 18 miles (29 km) of exhilarating scenery to the churning white waters of the famous Niagara Whirlpool. The covered boat keeps you dry as waves crash and splash around the domed jet boat!

What to expect

Experience the natural awe-inspiring scenery of the Niagara Gorge. Learn about the river's historical significance and feel the thrill of Devil's Hole class 5 whitewater and the magnitude of the Whirlpool.

The glass dome offers a panoramic view of the river while keeping you from getting wet, so feel free to bring a camera to record the experience!

We do not see Niagara Falls on any of our tours. Our tours travel upriver into the Niagara Gorge, through the Class V Rapids at Devil’s Hole and up to the Niagara Whirlpool. The Whirlpool and Niagara Falls are separated by a stretch of Class VI rapids that are unnavigable (and illegal) to pass through.

Take Dumfries St. off the Niagara Parkway, follow the road down. At the Queenston Waterfront sign, follow the road and turn left down to our parking lot.

Guests are asked to arrive 45 minutes prior to trip for check in and mandatory safety briefing. Refunds will not be given for late arrivals.

Guests must arrive on site via their own form of transportation - Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours is not responsible for getting you to the dock.
The participation agreement thoroughly explains all pertinent aspects of jet-boating including personal health requirements. Refusal to sign the agreement will not merit a credit or refund.
Arrive promptly 45 minutes prior to departure time to register, sign participation agreement and hear pre-trip safety orientation. If you miss the safety orientation, we will move you to the next available trip time without notice (subject to availability) so it is important to arrive on time.
Late or no-show participants will not receive a refund. You have 24 hours prior to your trip to cancel for a full refund. Trips rescheduled within 24 hours of departure will be subject to an additional 10% rebooking fee
Wheelchair accessibility - guests are able to use wheel chair onto the dock up to the boat, but cannot bring the chair on the boat. If assistance is required, passenger must provide their own carer. Guests must be able to sit on a bench seat and support themselves by holding on to a bar in-front of each seat without assistance.

There is a minimum height requirement of 40" tall for the DRY Freedom Jet seats. Children will be measured on-site, and those who do not meet the requirements will not be permitted to ride.
Guests under 18 years old are not permitted to ride without an adult chaperone (age 18+).
