Experience Rio’s most authentic samba night in the historic heart of Little Africa (Pequena África), where Afro-Brazilian culture shaped the city’s identity.
We start at 7:30 PM at Largo de São Francisco da Prainha, in the legendary port region of Rio. From there, we explore the stories and roots of this powerful area before arriving at Pedra do Sal, known as the birthplace of samba.
On Monday nights, Pedra do Sal comes alive with real street samba: live drums, locals dancing, cold drinks, and a unique atmosphere you simply can’t find anywhere else.
