Experience Authentic Karate in Kobe. Join a small group lesson at a cozy dojo, where you'll learn a "Kata" (form) of Shitoryu from a master instructor. Shitoryu is one of the major styles of karate, practiced extensively both in Japan and internationally.
Under the guidance of an 8th-degree Shitoryu master, you will be introduced to "Yon no Kata," a fundamental form that teaches essential blocking and striking techniques in four directions, simulating opponents from all sides.
This kata offers valuable insights into both body mechanics and the mental discipline that lies at the heart of karate.
At the end of the session, you will receive a scroll certifying your mastery of the kata.
The instruction is tailored to each participant's skill level, welcoming both complete beginners and those with karate experience.
【Note】The instructor's English is at a beginner level. Translation software or other support tools may be used as needed.
Please come to the front of "McDonald's Kobe Minatogawa branch," located right near the East Exit 3 of Minatogawa Koen Station, at the designated time. Staff wearing karate uniforms will be waiting for you. From there, we will walk to the dojo, which is about a 3-minute walk.
