What to expect

1. Travel from Accra to Cape Coast
Travelers will depart from Accra and travel by vehicle to Ghana's Central Region. The journey provides an opportunity to see the changing landscape between Accra and the Cape Coast area.

2. Kakum National Park
Travelers will visit Kakum National Park, one of Ghana's notable tropical rainforest destinations. A local guide will introduce travelers to the rainforest ecosystem, biodiversity, conservation, and the importance of protecting Ghana's forests.

3. Kakum Canopy Walkway
Travelers will experience the famous Canopy Walkway, consisting of suspended bridges above the rainforest canopy. The guide will provide information about the surrounding forest while travelers enjoy views of the rainforest from above.

4. Cape Coast Castle
Travelers will visit Cape Coast Castle and explore its historic buildings, dungeons, and other important areas. The experience will introduce travelers to the history of the castle and its connection to the transatlantic slave trade and Ghana's history.

5. Return to Accra
After visiting Kakum National Park and Cape Coast Castle, travelers will return by vehicle to Accra.
