Overview

Volunteer for a day with giant pandas on a private tour at the Dujiangyan Giant Panda Center. Help record panda behavior, clean enclosures(if you'd like to) and prepare food with a professional animal keeper as you get up close to China’s beloved black and white bears. Your volunteer service and program fee help ensure the survival of this vital species and contribute to the important work of the non-profit research facility — one of three bases that are part of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP). Lunch and round-trip hotel transport by private vehicle from Chengdu are included.

    Meet your friendly English-speaking guide at your hotel lobby. After 1.5 h driving, start your exciting full day trip at Dujiangyan panda center. Work with the keepers to clean up the enclosure for these lovely and special national treasure, prepare nutritious food for them, visit the giant pandas of all ages and see adorable red pandas here. It will be once in your lifetime memorable experience to actually help these wonderful and rare animals.

Meeting and pickup

Pickup details

Departure point: Free picking up service from your city hotel or residence in Chengdu (all hotels within 3rd Ring Road), if you stay outside the 3rd Ring Road, then need to be picked up at the main gate of Wuhouci, or please contact us in advance to arrange to be picked up from your hotel or airport and pay extra cost to driver.
Return point: Returns to original departure point or can be drop-off at the city center.
