Romania is one of Europe’s oldest wine-making countries, and this evening brings its wines and cuisine together at one table.
You’ll taste four carefully selected Romanian wines (two whites, a rosé and a red), paired with a three-course dinner prepared by a professionally trained chef.
Your host is a sommelier with an exceptional background in the wine world:
Jury member at international wine competitions, including the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles
WSET and Winetaste School certified
Jury member at the Best Sommelier of Romania and Best Sommelier of Europe contests
Director of Wine & Spirit Club magazine for six years
Member of the European Order of the Knights of Wine (OEVE)
Member of the European Sommeliers Association
For each wine, he’ll explain where it comes from, what makes the grape unique and why it works with the dish in front of you, without any wine jargon. Along the way, he may share stories about Romania’s history and geography.
More like a well-curated evening than a formal tasting, ideal for newcomers and seasoned wine lovers alike.
