Following an early hotel pick-up in Punta Cana (between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m., depending on your hotel), and after a brief stop at a meeting point to coordinate transportation, you will continue the journey aboard a comfortable modern bus to the charming village of Las Cañitas, near Sabana de la Mar.The drive lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes thanks to the new Miches highway. Along the way, you’ll be able to admire beautiful views of the Dominican countryside and the eastern coastline, while your guide shares interesting facts about Dominican culture, traditions, and everyday life.

Once you arrive in Las Cañitas, you’ll be warmly greeted by the local community and have a little time to unwind after the bus journey. Then, the real adventure begins! You’ll board our boat and cruise across the stunning Samaná Bay, which becomes home to the majestic humpback whales during certain months of the year, before arriving at the charming town of Santa Bárbara de Samaná.
