This iconic landmark has also featured in Game of Thrones and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Visitors can wander through the grand hall, ascend the towers, and take in breathtaking views of the River Teith from the castle's ramparts.

Enjoy a relaxing midday break in the historic town of Linlithgow, where a variety of welcoming cafés and restaurants provide the perfect spot for lunch. For Outlander enthusiasts, Midhope Castle is a must-visit location. Recognized as Lallybroch, the beloved family home of Jamie Fraser, it stands as a timeless symbol of the series. Though the interior is not open to the public, the castle’s exterior still resonates with the deep emotional connections of the show. Wander the castle grounds, capture unforgettable photos, and immerse yourself in the essence of one of the most cherished sites. If filming schedules affect Midhope’s availibility, we’ll ensure an equally remarkable stop.

Hopetoun House, a stunning example of Scottish baroque architecture, offers a unique opportunity to explore both Scotland’s rich history and its Outlander connections. In the series, it stands in as the Duke of Sandringham’s lavish residence, with its grand interiors offering a glimpse into 17th-century aristocratic life. The estate’s expansive grounds are featured in several scenes, including the iconic courtyard where Jamie’s ambush on Sandringham takes place. With sweeping views of the River Forth and beautifully maintained gardens, Hopetoun House is a captivating fusion of history and cinematic allure. The tour includes the entrance fee to the grounds, you can choose to upgrade this to tour the house.
