This small, secluded bay is famous for its calm, crystal-clear turquoise waters and vibrant marine life, making it a perfect spot for snorkeling — whether you're a beginner or an experienced snorkeler.

As you dive into the warm waters, you’ll be greeted by colorful coral reefs teeming with tropical fish such as angelfish, parrotfish, clownfish, and sometimes even turtles. The visibility is usually excellent, allowing you to fully enjoy the vibrant underwater scenery just a few meters from the shore.

  2. Lempuyang Temple
    2h · Admission ticket included
Perched high on the slopes of Mount Lempuyang in East Bali, the Gate of Heaven at Lempuyang Temple is one of the island’s most iconic and sacred sites. Known locally as Pura Lempuyang Luhur, this ancient Hindu temple offers breathtaking views of Mount Agung, Bali’s highest and most revered volcano.

The famous “Gate of Heaven” refers to the towering split gate (candi bentar) at the temple's entrance, which perfectly frames Mount Agung in the background — a view that has become one of the most photographed spots in Bali. Many visitors come at sunrise or early morning to capture the magical moment when the clouds part and reveal the majestic mountain beyond the gate.

Beyond its stunning photo opportunity, Lempuyang Temple is a deeply spiritual place, and visiting it provides a unique insight into Balinese culture and religious traditions. Reaching the temple involves a scenic drive and a series of steps, rewarding you with panoramic views and a serene atmosphere..
