Step directly off the jungle trail and into a traditional, hand-carved wooden dugout canoe. A local villager will gently paddle you across the glassy, tranquil waters of Lake Tamblingan, providing a peaceful, spiritual view of the lakeside shrines.

  • Clothing: Please wear comfortable athletic clothing. Munduk is located at a high altitude in the mountains; temperatures are noticeably cooler than South Bali and it can get misty or rain suddenly. A light jacket or sweater is highly recommended
  • Swimwear: Bring a swimsuit and your own personal travel towel if you wish to swim in the natural pools of the Banyumala Twin Waterfalls
  • Temple Etiquette: We will be passing sacred lakeside temples. While we do not enter the inner courtyards, please pack a sarong if you wish to walk closer to the temple structures
