When it was completed in 1936 Hoover Dam was the highest structure of its kind in the world. Your small-group tour includes an extended exterior tour of the Dam (where you'll walk across the top of the Dam from Nevada into Arizona) as well as the amazing Hoover Dam Bridge 900 feet above the Colorado River with ample time for photo opportunities from the top of the dam, and Lake Mead, North America's largest man-made lake with 550 miles of shoreline. In addition, stop at a local park where herds of bighorn sheep often come down (seasonal) from the surrounding mountains to gather and graze on the sweet grass.

Next, your day trip continues with the drive across the beautiful high desert of Arizona, where you'll visit the incredible 900-year-old Joshua tree forest, a 250 square mile stand of the most abundant and lush Joshua Tress in America. As you break out of Diamond Bar Rd Canyon you'll be consumed by the awesome views and colors of the Grand Canyon. It's like entering a beautiful fantasy world.
