You’ll learn how the intricate designs reflect Morocco’s blend of spirituality and tradition, setting the stage for a unique, hands-on experience.
Next, I’ll introduce you to the tools of the trade: traditional reed pens, known as “qalams,” and high-quality ink. You’ll learn about different calligraphy styles and how each one conveys a unique feel.
Now, it’s time to dive in! I’ll guide you with the local artist step-by-step as you practice basic strokes and shapes, helping you develop confidence and fluidity with each movement. You’ll create simple but beautiful designs, focusing on your name.
