6 Days Serengeti Fly-In Safari and Zanzibar Holiday

Day 1: Arusha - fly to Serengeti National park

1. Serengeti National Park
   1h
Your adventure begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, where you will board a scenic flight to Serengeti National Park. From above, marvel at the endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see.

Upon landing on the Serengeti airstrip, your private guide will welcome you with an open-top safari vehicle ready for your first game drive en route to your lodge/camp. As you drive, the Serengeti introduces itself with herds of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and perhaps even your first sight of a lion resting under an acacia tree.

Arrive at your camp or lodge just in time for a warm welcome, sundowner drinks, and dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in the Serengeti

1. Serengeti National Park
   2h
Rise before dawn for a magical sunrise game drive when predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs are most active. Witness the golden savannah come alive with wildlife as the sun breaks the horizon.

Return to camp for a hearty breakfast before venturing out again for a full-day safari experience. With your picnic lunch packed, you’ll explore different habitats – from the predator-rich Seronera Valley to hippo-filled pools and the sweeping plains dotted with acacias.

Every turn reveals new drama: elephants marching across the plains, graceful antelopes, and powerful predators on the hunt. The Serengeti is not just a park; it is a living stage of nature’s greatest show.

Day 3: Serengeti Adventure – Optional Balloon Safari

1. Serengeti National Park
   2h
This day offers a chance for one of Africa’s most iconic experiences – a hot air balloon safari. Float silently above the Serengeti at sunrise, watching herds of elephants and wildebeest below while the sky paints itself in shades of gold. After landing, enjoy a champagne bush breakfast before continuing your safari.

Spend the rest of the day exploring untouched corners of the park. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, with thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving in a breathtaking natural spectacle.

As the sun sets, sip your drink by the campfire and listen to the distant roar of lions – a memory you will never forget.
