What to expect

Day 1: Activity Fly to Bale Goba and Drive to Bale Mountains national park

    07:55 AM, Flight departure to Bale Goba (GOB).
    09:00 AM, Arrival at Bale Goba. Our Bale Mountains guide and driver will meet you at the airport. Lunch break in Gobe town before starting the trip.
    Afternoon: Drive to Bale Mountains Lodge, a scenic 3-hour journey along the highest road in Africa, offering breathtaking landscape views
Day 2: Activity Explore Harena Forest
  1. Bale Mountains National Park

    After breakfast, embark on a beautiful 3-hour hike through Harena Forest. After the hike, return to the lodge for a lunch break.
    In the afternoon, take a shorter hike to visit the stunning Bale Waterfalls.
Day 3: Activity Hike to Lake Geber-Guracha

    After breakfast, driving to the Sanetti Plateau, with elevations ranging from 3,700m to 4,100m, making it the highest road in Africa. Hike around the second highest peak in Ethiopia, Tullu Demtu (4,377m),
    After hike to Lake Geber-Guracha, which will take approximately 4 hours. During the hike, there’s a high chance of spotting the endemic Ethiopian wolf.
    Enjoy a picnic lunch with breathtaking views of the 3,900m-high lake.
    Expect about 3 hours of driving today.

Day 4: Activity Visit Dinsho National park and Fly back to Addis Abeba

    After breakfast, drive to Dinisho national park, here we do a one/two hours hike in the park to see some of the endemic wild life, Niyal, Minlick Bushbuck and others.
    After, drive to Robe town for lunch break and depart at 15:00 and arrival in Addis 16:00.
    This will be end of the Adventure.

Dear Travelers,

We will pick you up from Bale Goba Airport if your tour starts on the same day of arrival. If you arrive earlier, we can also arrange an optional pickup from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport the day before the tour starts.

Please let us know your preferred pickup location and share your flight or hotel details in advance so we can arrange your pickup accordingly.
