It is one of the most beautiful photo spots of Cappadocia, revealing the panorama of Erciyes and the magnificent Pigeon Valley

   The valley takes its name from the thousands of pigeon nests carved into the tuff rock centuries ago. Local people used pigeon droppings as natural fertilizer in their vineyards and fields, and the pigeons were also utilized for communication purposes.
