Overview
Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Mount Bromo from a scenic viewpoint above the caldera. Watch the sunrise as the first light of the day illuminates Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and the surrounding volcanic landscape, creating a spectacular and unforgettable view.
We choose Seruni Point because it is generally less crowded than the usual sunrise spots. This helps us avoid hours of jeep traffic jams, and we can reach the Bromo Crater earlier, before most other visitors arrive.
After enjoying the sunrise and the stunning views of Mount Bromo from above, we will continue to the Bromo Crater parking area. You will have approximately 1.5–2 hours to explore the area. Once at the top, you can stand on the edge of Mount Bromo’s crater and see the active volcanic crater up close, while enjoying the unique volcanic landscape surrounding it. Take your time to explore, take photos, and experience the dramatic scenery of one of Indonesia’s most iconic volcanoes.

Seruni Point Bromo

Mount Bromo

After enjoying the sunrise and the stunning views of Mount Bromo from above, we will continue to the Bromo Crater parking area, crossing the vast Bromo Sea of Sand caldera along the way.
You will have approximately 1.5–2 hours to explore the area. From the parking area, it is about a 1 km flat walk followed by an approximately 800-meter uphill walk to reach the crater rim.
Once at the top, you can stand on the edge of Mount Bromo’s crater and see the active volcanic crater up close, while enjoying the unique volcanic landscape surrounding it. Take your time to explore, take photos, and experience the dramatic scenery of one of Indonesia’s most iconic volcanoes.
