Start your day in a Berber house, greeted with mint tea and shown how traditional Berber bread is made. Enjoy a simple breakfast of fresh bread, olive oil, and honey before joining your hosts for a hands-on cooking class. Prepare Berber tagine and Berber couscous, made with local vegetables and naturally milled couscous flour, while learning family recipes and traditions.
While your meal cooks, take a gentle 2-hour trek through old villages, riverside paths, and orchards of apple, cherry, and walnut trees. See village life in the Atlas Mountains and areas touched by the 2023 earthquake.
Back at the house, share the meal you helped prepare, relax with Moroccan tea, and enjoy the mountain views. On your return to Marrakech, travel a scenic route past Lalla Takerkoust Lake and the Kik Plateau. A full day of Berber hospitality, authentic cuisine, and Atlas Mountain beauty.
