This is a family dog sledding trip near Mont-Tremblant, in the Laurentians forest. At our base, you'll meet our pack of over 60 Nordic dogs (Siberian huskies), each with its own personality. Your guide shows you how to harness your sled dogs, learn their names and drive your team. For the 11:00 departure, the dogs are already harnessed when you arrive.
Adults team up on each sled: 1 driver and 1 or 2 passengers, depending on weight. Drivers and passengers can switch places halfway. Children under 11 ride as passengers on a parent's sled or on a guide's sled.
You'll spend 1h15 on winding forest trails bordered by pine trees. These trails are suited to beginners, and drivers sometimes need to run alongside the sled to help the dogs. The trip includes a 15-min stop for hot chocolate and homemade desserts. Back at our base, you'll reward the dogs with treats, then warm up with a bowl of hot soup (tomato and vegetables or chicken noodle).
Our guides have been running dogsledding trips for over 25 years. Our photographer is on site, and photos are available for purchase at our base. Spaces are limited, so reserve in advance.
