Piedmont, with its unique soil and climate, is one of the few places where the prized white truffle grows naturally.
During the tour, you'll uncover the secrets of finding and extracting truffles, learn how to choose the best ones at markets, and enjoy the thrill of searching for this elusive delicacy.
The tour takes place in a historic town near Alba - the heart of Italy’s truffle region. With a local trifolao (truffle hunter), you’ll explore protected forest areas normally closed to outsiders. These lands are carefully guarded and divided among hunters, making this access a rare privilege.
Alba also hosts the world’s largest truffle festival, where you can stroll through lively streets, visit markets, taste local dishes, and enjoy music and traditional events.
