What to expect

Savannah Historic District
1h

Savannah's Historic District is a living museum — 22 carefully planned squares shaded by ancient live oaks draped in Spanish moss, surrounded by some of the best-preserved antebellum and Victorian architecture in the country.

Your guide will take you through the heart of it all, covering the city's founding story, the people who built it, the wars that tested it, and the neighborhoods that define it today. Expect stunning Federal and Italianate townhomes, hidden garden courtyards, monument-filled squares, and the kind of layered history that rewards a good storyteller behind the wheel.
