Meiji Jingu is one of Tokyo’s most important Shinto shrines, located beside Harajuku in a large forested area.

The shrine is dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken and is known for its peaceful atmosphere, impressive torii gates, and beautiful woodland approach. It offers a calm contrast to the busy streets of nearby Harajuku and Shibuya.
