Overview

This private tour starts from Narita Airport or a hotel around Narita and takes you to the Kashima and Itako area, where peaceful waterways, local traditions, and Japanese football history come together. Begin in Itako, a quiet waterside town known for Suigo Itako Ayame Garden and its traditional rowboat experience when available. Continue to the Mercari Stadium area and Kashima Soccer Museum to explore the local football culture, including Zico’s legacy and the region’s role in Japan’s professional football history.

Finally, visit Kashima Jingu Shrine, a sacred site connected to victory, martial traditions, sacred deer, and the identity of Kashima. With private car transportation throughout the tour, this plan is ideal for layovers, arrival days, departure days, guests staying near Narita, and football fans looking for a deeper regional experience beyond typical airport-area sightseeing.
