What to expect

  1. Tirta Empul Temple
    1h · Admission ticket included
Travelers will participate in Bali’s sacred melukat purification ritual at this 1,000-year-old water temple. Guided by a Balinese priest, you’ll cleanse body and soul under 12 holy springs in the central purification pools, learning how locals use these waters for spiritual healing. The temple complex features intricately carved shrines, a koi-filled purification pond, and offerings of canang sari (flower baskets) at Hindu altars.
  2. Ulu Petanu Waterfall
    1h · Admission ticket included
After the ritual, you’ll trek through jungle foliage (10-min walk) to this hidden cascade, where water thunders into a turquoise pool. Unlike crowded tourist waterfalls, Ulu Petanu offers privacy—swim in the refreshing waters or relax on volcanic rocks while your guide shares stories of its spiritual significance to nearby villages.
  3. Tegalalang Rice Terrace
    1h · Admission ticket included
Your final stop showcases Bali’s iconic emerald-green rice paddies, carved into dramatic cliffs. Walk along narrow ridges (photo ops at bamboo swings, extra cost), and learn about the UNESCO-listed subak irrigation system from farmers tending the fields. The terraces glow golden in late afternoon light—ideal for unforgettable photos.
