Overview
A 3 Days Safari visiting the Samburu National Reserve, one of the famous safari destinations in East Africa. Samburu National Reserve is a haven for an abundance of rare species of animals such as the Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich. You will be staying at Samburu Sopa Lodge built on top high ground allowing panoramic views of the vastness of Samburu shrub land and the hills beyond. The lodge is built to reflect the architectural heritage of the local communities whose sons and daughters make up the majority of the work force at the lodge.

What to expect
Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve.

Pick up in Nairobi Hotel/Airport and Depart for Samburu at 7.00 am. This will be a 6-hour drive. There will be an en-route stopover to view Mount Kenya with its Snow-capped peaks. Arrive at the camp just in time for check-in and lunch. Embark on your first game drive in the afternoon with a chance of spotting the Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich, Elephants, Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah. Later in the evening drive back to your camp for dinner and overnight stay. Lunch and dinner at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Day 2: Full Day at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast embark on a full day game drive with packed lunch boxes. This shall be a full day of unlimited wildlife viewing. Possible sightings of unique wildlife species like Oryx, Gerenuk, Gravy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich and other wild animals’ peculiar to this semi-arid region. Your game drives will be along Ewaso Nyiro river where most of the wild animals are found. You will also be able to watch different species of birds found in the reserve. Day 3: Nairobi National Reserve to Nairobi
