Overview

While most Krabi boat tours reach Hong Islands mid-morning alongside dozens of other boats, this tour departs at 7:00am — putting you on the beach before the crowds arrive, with 1.5 hours to swim, hike to the viewpoint, & take photos on a quiet shoreline while the light is softest and the water calmest. From there, the route goes beyond the standard stops: kayaking through Ko Hong's limestone channels in Phang Nga Bay, weaving between towering karst cliffs that most day-trippers never paddle past, and a visit to Ko Roi's hidden mangrove forest, a lesser-known spot most tours skip entirely, where you'll glide through shaded channels and spot local birdlife. At James Bond Island, you'll view the famous rock from the water rather than joining the crush of boats and tourists onshore avoiding the long wait and crowds without missing the sight itself. Along the way, your crew captures photos of you & your group at each stop, so you can spend the day in the moment rather than behind a camera

What to expect

  1. Hong Island
    1h 30m · Admission ticket included
Arrive at Hong Island early in the morning, when the beach is peaceful and before most of the day-trip boats arrive. Enjoy the chance to experience this beautiful island with fewer crowds, softer morning light and a more relaxed atmosphere. Spend time swimming or snorkeling in the clear turquoise water, relaxing on the white-sand beach or exploring the island at your own pace. Guests who would like a little adventure can climb to the viewpoint for spectacular panoramic views over the surrounding limestone cliffs, islands and Andaman Sea. After enjoying the beach and scenery, return to the speedboat and continue to the next stop on the journey.
  2. Hong Island
    15m
Cruise into the spectacular Hong Lagoon, a hidden natural lagoon surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and lush greenery. Your captain will slowly navigate the speedboat through the narrow entrance and around the calm emerald water, giving you time to take in the scenery and capture photos from the boat. This is usually a sightseeing stop rather than a swimming stop, allowing you to enjoy the dramatic rock formations and peaceful atmosphere before continuing to the next destination. Access to the lagoon may depend on the tide and sea conditions.
  3. Ko Hong
    30m · Admission ticket included
Discover Ko Hong near James Bond Island on a guided sea-kayaking experience through the spectacular landscapes of Phang Nga Bay. Sit back and relax while an experienced local paddle guide navigates the kayak for you through calm waterways surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, caves and lush mangrove forests. This is a peaceful way to explore areas that larger boats cannot reach, with plenty of opportunities to admire the scenery, spot local wildlife and take photos. The exact route may vary depending on the tide, weather and sea conditions.
  4. James Bond Island
    20m
See the world-famous James Bond Island from the comfort of the speedboat as we cruise through the dramatic scenery of Phang Nga Bay. Admire the distinctive limestone rock of Ko Tapu, made famous by the James Bond film *The Man with the Golden Gun*, and enjoy excellent photo opportunities from the water. Rather than joining the crowds on the small and often busy beach, we remain on the boat and take in the landmark from a more relaxed viewpoint. Your captain will slow down and position the boat so everyone has time to enjoy the scenery and capture photos before continuing the journey.
  5. Ko Yao Noi
    1h
Stop for lunch at a peaceful island beach in the Koh Yao Noi area. The exact island is chosen on the day according to the weather, tides and sea conditions, allowing the crew to find the most suitable and least crowded location. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch surrounded by beautiful coastal scenery, with time to relax on the sand and swim in the clear water. This flexible stop helps us avoid the busiest beaches and gives you a more relaxed island experience before continuing the journey. Please note that the exact beach may vary from day to day.
