3 Day Volta Escape from Accra Wli Falls Nature and Camping

Day 1: Accra to Wli — Arrival, Dinner and Overnight Stay

   Travel from your confirmed Accra pickup point to Wli, about four hours depending on traffic. Your booked accommodation is for both nights.
   
   LODGE OPTION: Stay at Wli Heights Lodge in a room with a bed and fan, with access to a bathroom and toilet.
   
   TENT OPTION: Sleep outdoors in a tent near Wli Lower Falls, with a mattress and bedding. Basic toilet facilities are outdoors. There is no indoor bathroom or conventional shower; bathing is at the waterfall, subject to site guidance and conditions. Tent guests stay at the campsite.
   
   Dinner is included. Camping guests enjoy homemade food freshly prepared in front of them. Settle in and rest before the next day's hike.

Day 2: Wli Waterfalls Hike — Upper or Lower Falls

   After the included breakfast, choose the challenging upper Wli Falls hike or the shorter lower-falls walk. The upper route takes about 2.5 hours uphill. Spend up to two hours resting and enjoying the waterfall before descending. Allow approximately seven hours for the full upper-falls outing; timing varies with the group's pace. The lower falls are about a 45-minute walk. Guests on the lower route can enjoy time there while the upper-falls group hikes. Day 2 includes breakfast and one main meal, served as lunch or dinner, with drinking water. Reunite for a bonfire and relaxation before the second overnight in your booked tent or lodge. Entrance fees are included.

Day 3: Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, Community Visit and Return to Accra

   After breakfast, leave Wli and visit Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary and Cultural Village. Spend about one hour meeting the mona monkeys, feeding them during the sanctuary visit and exploring the local community. Admission is included in both packages. Afterwards, return to Accra and your confirmed drop-off location.

Pickup details

Hotel, Airbnb and other accommodation pickup and return drop-off are available in Airport, Labadi, Dzorwulu, Roman Ridge, Ridge, Spintex, Cantonments, Labone, East Legon and Airport Hills. If your accommodation is not listed, select your own pickup point and provide its name, full address and a Google Maps link or GhanaPost GPS address. We will confirm your pickup time and location before departure and return you to the same location at the end of the 3-day tour. Pickup is limited to locations within an estimated 36-minute drive of our Abelemkpe operating area, subject to traffic and confirmation. Pickup is not available in Tema or outside Accra.
