Overview

Leave Tokyo behind for Izu, a popular seaside getaway where volcanic landscapes meet the ocean. Ride the chairlift up Mt. Omuro and stroll around its crater rim, then cross Kadowaki Suspension Bridge above Jogasaki's rugged coastline. Atami's waterfront and Ito Orange Beach add two different seaside settings to your journey.
With hotel pickup and a vehicle reserved for your group, enjoy the changing scenery without arranging transport between stops. Share the day with family or friends, from summit panoramas to coastal photo stops.
All four stops can be visited within the booked duration in normal traffic. If heavy traffic, especially on weekends and Japanese public holidays, leaves too little time, we will discuss your preferred stops within the booked time or an optional paid extension. See Additional Info for details.

Atami Sun Beach

Begin your Izu escape at Atami Sun Beach, where palm-lined walkways and a sandy shoreline capture the charm of a Japanese seaside resort. Enjoy a gentle waterfront stroll, take photos and soak up the coastal atmosphere before continuing along the peninsula. Stop times throughout the itinerary are approximate; any changes needed due to delays will be discussed with you.
Ito Orange Beach

Pause at Ito Orange Beach for sea breezes and open views across the bay. Enjoy a short stroll along the palm-lined promenade or capture a few seaside photos before heading towards Izu's volcanic landscapes. This stop is designed for a relaxed walk and sightseeing rather than swimming or water activities.
Mt. Omuro

Take the chairlift to Mt. Omuro's distinctive volcanic summit and explore the crater-rim path, with sweeping views of the coastline and surrounding mountains when the weather is clear. Pause for photos and enjoy Izu from a different perspective. The round-trip chairlift ticket is paid separately, and the visit time includes queuing and both rides. Lift services may be affected by weather or maintenance; if access is unavailable, we'll discuss a suitable alternative with you to make the most of your day.
Jogasaki Coast

Discover Jogasaki's dramatic lava cliffs and ocean views, then cross Kadowaki Suspension Bridge above the rocky shoreline. Enjoy a short walk around the bridge and nearby viewpoints, focusing on the coastal highlights rather than the full hiking trail. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as some paths have steps and uneven surfaces. Prefer not to cross the bridge? You can enjoy the nearby coastal views instead. Please let us know about any walking difficulties so we can discuss a suitable route.

Meeting and pickup

Pickup details

Vehicle bookings include pickup and drop-off at hotels or agreed points within Tokyo's 23 wards. Please share your address and contact number; we'll confirm details the day before. The 10-hour service runs from scheduled pickup to drop-off, including travel, sightseeing, queues, meal breaks and up to 30 minutes of complimentary waiting at pickup.
In normal traffic, you can enjoy all four stops within 10 hours: Atami, Ito Orange Beach, Mt. Omuro and Jogasaki Coast. Izu is a popular getaway, with heavy traffic especially on weekends and Japanese public holidays.
If delays leave too little time for all four stops, we'll discuss what works best for you: prioritize your favourite sights and return within 10 hours with no extension fee, or request an optional extension at JPY 5,000 per vehicle per hour, subject to driver and vehicle availability. We'll agree the extra time and fee with you beforehand, then help you enjoy more of Izu as traffic and attraction opening hours allow.
