Overview

Enjoy a private 10-hour car trip from Nagoya to the shrines and coast of Ise and Toba, without planning trains or buses.

Default route: Nagoya → Ise Grand Shrine (Inner Shrine/Naiku) → Okage Yokocho → Futami Okitama Shrine & Meoto Iwa → Toba Bay waterfront → Mikimoto Pearl Island → Nagoya.

Explore sacred forest paths, local food streets, coastal scenery and Japan's pearl heritage at your own pace. Pickup and drop-off are within central Nagoya.

This is driver-only service, not a guided tour. An English-speaking driver is not guaranteed. Contact us at least 24 hours ahead to request changes; otherwise the default route applies.

The 10 hours include driving, sightseeing and return travel. Traffic, weather, parking and opening hours may limit stops. Admission tickets, meals and optional activities cost extra; Ama diver demonstrations cannot be guaranteed.

What to expect

  1. Kamakazu Ise Grand Shrine

    Walk across Uji Bridge to Ise Grand Shrine's Inner Shrine (Naiku), surrounded by forest. Explore the public paths and grounds independently. The Outer Shrine (Geku) is not part of the default route.
  2. Okage Yokocho

    Browse traditional shops and try local specialties such as Ise udon and Akafuku in Okage Yokocho. This is the suggested lunch stop; food, drinks and purchases are at your own expense.
  3. Futami Okitama Shrine

    See the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) joined by a sacred rope beside Futami Okitama Shrine. Enjoy a short seaside walk and photos; weather and tides affect the views.
  4. 20m
    Enjoy a brief Toba Bay waterfront photo stop, subject to parking and available time. This does not include a cruise. The stop may be shortened to keep the return to Nagoya within 10 hours.
  5. Mikimoto Pearl Island
    1h · Admission ticket not included
    Explore Japan's cultured-pearl history at Mikimoto Pearl Island independently. Admission is extra (approx. JPY 1,650/adult). Ama diver demonstrations depend on the operator's schedule and weather and are not guaranteed. Allow more time here by shortening another stop.

Meeting and pickup

Pickup details

Pickup/drop-off is available at hotels and agreed meeting points within central Nagoya. After booking, provide your exact address or station exit, pickup time, passenger count, luggage details, and contact number or WhatsApp.

Your driver will confirm the meeting point. Hotels and stations include 30 minutes of free waiting from the scheduled pickup time. Parking restrictions may require a nearby meeting point.

The 10-hour service includes all driving, sightseeing and return drop-off. Overtime or waiting beyond the free allowance: JPY 5,000/hour. Service between 22:00 and 07:00 incurs an additional JPY 2,000 nighttime charge (billing details confirmed in advance). Out-of-area pickups, extra stops and additional vehicles cost extra.

Alphard: up to 6 guests and four 28-inch suitcases. Hiace: up to 9 guests and 15 bags, subject to bag sizes and vehicle configuration. Excess luggage requires advance confirmation.
