Overview

See Kobe's mountain scenery from daylight to evening on a private 10-hour car tour from Osaka or Kyoto. Visit Rokkosan Pasture, Rokko Garden Terrace and, if time permits, Arima Onsen's old streets before heading to Mt. Maya's Kikuseidai viewpoint.

Default route: hotel → Rokkosan Pasture → Rokko Garden Terrace → optional Arima Onsen or mountain stop → Kikuseidai → hotel. The order may change to match pasture hours, sunset and road access. Request changes at least 24h ahead; otherwise the feasible default route applies.

IMPORTANT: Visitors who arrived in Japan from overseas less than a week ago cannot enter Rokkosan Pasture. A mountain viewpoint may be substituted.

Max6/9: English driver-cum-guide for basic help, not licensed guiding. Max13/17/44: driver only, no English guarantee. Admissions, food and onsen bathing are extra. All driving, walks, sightseeing, waiting and return travel count toward the 10h. Night views depend on weather and are not guaranteed.

Rokko Garden Terrace

Continue to Rokko Garden Terrace, a mountain-top sightseeing area overlooking Kobe, Osaka Bay and the surrounding Kansai region when visibility permits.
Enjoy panoramic scenery from the publicly accessible viewing areas and take photographs of the mountains and distant cityscape.
The terrace offers a relaxing atmosphere with cafés, restaurants and souvenir shops.
Guests may enjoy coffee, snacks or a meal at their own expense while admiring the mountain surroundings.
Depending on the season, the landscape may feature fresh greenery, autumn foliage or winter scenery.

Arima Onsen

If time and routing permit, enjoy a short stop at Arima Onsen, a historic hot-spring town surrounded by the mountains near Kobe.
Walk along the traditional streets, explore souvenir shops and appreciate the atmosphere of a Japanese onsen resort.
Guests may purchase local snacks, browse specialty shops or visit a public footbath if one is operating and time allows.
This visit offers a cultural contrast to the mountain farm and scenic viewpoints.
Important: This is an optional short town walk, not a full hot-spring bathing experience.
The standard tour does not include admission to public baths, private bathing facilities or ryokan hot springs.

Travel toward Mt. Maya and enjoy an opportunity to admire Kobe's cityscape from Kikuseidai Observation Platform.
Kikuseidai is a well-known mountain viewpoint offering expansive views across Kobe, Osaka Bay and the surrounding urban areas.
On a clear evening, watch the changing colors of the sky and the city lights gradually appear below.
The contrast between the natural mountain landscape and the illuminated city creates a distinctive final sightseeing experience.
Depending on the season and selected departure time, guests may experience daylight views, twilight or night scenery.

Pickup details

Osaka/Kyoto city hotel pickup and drop-off are included when confirmed in your option; return is to the pickup city. Out-of-area locations need approval. KIX, Kobe Port or Maizuru Port: +JPY 10,000/booking if accepted.

Send hotel/address, pickup time, guest/bag counts, phone/WhatsApp, child-seat/wheelchair needs, Japan arrival date and route requests at least 24h ahead. Meet in the lobby or agreed safe entrance; parking limits may require a nearby meeting point.

The 10h runs from scheduled pickup to hotel drop-off, including driving, visits, meals, waiting and return. Free hotel pickup wait: 30min. Extra waiting/overtime: JPY 5,000/h (up to 14 seats) or JPY 10,000/h (Coaster/coach). Night service 22:00-07:00: +JPY 2,000 per service.
