Meet an authentic Tokyo geisha in an intimate 60-minute afternoon cultural experience held every Thursday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Watch traditional Japanese dance and music up close, then enjoy conversation and a Q&A about geisha culture, training, kimono, and daily life. The geisha personally hosts the experience, with communication supported by a translation device. Please note that no interpreter or English-speaking guide accompanies the experience. Finish with memorable photos together. This rare daytime encounter offers a welcoming way to experience genuine geisha hospitality, which is usually available only at private evening banquets. It fits easily into a day of sightseeing in Shinjuku and is ideal for travelers interested in Japanese culture, performing arts, and meaningful personal exchange.
