At Village Cooking Class Kandy, we offer a unique opportunity to learn traditional Sri Lankan cooking in a village setting. The experience begins with a visit to a local market, where you’ll learn how to select fresh vegetables and ingredients essential to Sri Lankan cuisine. We provide pickup from a designated point for the market visit, ensuring a seamless experience. Back at the village, you’ll be guided through the preparation and cooking of authentic dishes, giving you hands-on experience in crafting a perfect Sri Lankan meal.In addition, this experience includes a brief visit to a nearby village, providing you with a unique insight into local life.
Market Visit - We offer a market visit as part of our activity. During the visit, we guide you through the process of selecting five vegetables from a wide variety available in the market. You will also have the option to choose either chicken or fish. In addition, we provide detailed explanations about the spices and other ingredients at the market. Afterward, we return to the village to begin the cooking session.
