He built two pyramids in this area, the first called The Bent Pyramid and the second called The Red Pyramid. The Red Pyramid is the first true pyramid in all Egypt after building the Step Pyramid. Which was built by Djoser and the bent pyramid that was built by King Snefer in Dahshur region.
