The final day features a scenic 4x4 drive through the remote Iriki region and a return to Marrakech via Foum Zguid and the High Atlas Mountains. What to expect
Day 1: Marrakech – Agdz - Draa valley - Zagora
Pass by
Leave Marrakech with a driver-guide for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. Drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the highest main road pass in Morocco (2260m), passing lush valleys and Berber villages. Visit Kasbah Glaoui in Telouet and follow the scenic Ounila Valley to Ait Ben Haddou. Stay overnight in a restored kasbah guesthouse in Zagora, with meals included.
Day 2: Zagora – M’Hamid – Chegaga desert

In the morning, explore Tamgrout renowned for its Quranic library and distinctive green pottery. Continue your journey to Zagora and M'hamid El Ghezlane, located at the end of the sealed road. The Draa River, Morocco's longest, accompanies your drive south along the valley, dotted with stunning palm oases and ancient kasbahs.
Venture off-road for a scenic 2-hour drive to reach the overnight camp nestled at the base of towering dunes, just in time for sunset. Enjoy a camel ride and spend the night at the camp, complete with a delicious evening meal and breakfast.
After enjoying the sunrise and a delightful breakfast, we'll embark on a thrilling 4-hour off-road adventure accessible only by 4x4 vehicles to reach Foum-zguid, where a delicious lunch awaits. Following lunch, we'll head back to Marrakech via Taznakhte, known for its exquisite carpets, and traverse the majestic High Atlas Mountains. By the end of the day, we'll arrive back in Marrakech, concluding our memorable journey.
