What to expect

  1. Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai)
    45m · Admission ticket included
The largest golden Buddha statue in the southern region, in the Maravichai posture, over 12 meters tall, located on Koh Fan (connected to Koh Samui by a bridge). You can enjoy a 360-degree view of Bang Rak Beach and Koh Phangan.
Opening hours: 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Open daily)
    Entrance fee: Free (donations welcome)
Tip for Tripadvisor: Dress modestly (sleeved shirts, pants or skirts covering the knees) and it’s best to visit early in the morning or in the evening before sunset, as the marble steps can get very hot during midday.

You will have the opportunity to enjoy beautiful ocean views and scenic viewpoints.
  3. Na Muang Waterfall 1
    45m · Admission ticket included
A popular waterfall that is the easiest to access on Koh Samui. The waterfall is about 18 meters high, flowing into a large natural pool surrounded by shady forest. It's perfect for swimming and cooling off.
Opening Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (open daily)

The walk from the parking lot to the waterfall is quite short and easy (only takes about 5 minutes), but the rocks around the pool are very slippery. Be careful and wear shoes with good grip.
  4. Wat Teepangkorn
