What to expect

Day 1: Day 1: Mombasa/Diani to Saltlick
  1. Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

    You will be picked up from your beach hotel in the early morning hours and depart by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. You will enjoy an amazing game drive along the way. Upon arrival at Taita Hills Lodge, you will have lunch, relax for a while and then head out for a game drive in the sanctuary searching for lion and other wildlife, until sunset.

    You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavel sit on stilts over a series of water holes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air-bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides you will a panoramic view of the sanctuary; offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife.
Day 2: Day 2: Salt Lick to Mombasa/ Diani

    Enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a half day game drive. Around noon you will depart for Mombasa, taking part in a game drive and lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will be dropped off at your beach hotel. This is where your safari will end.

NOTE: FOR SAFETY REASONS CHILDREN BELOW THE AGE OF 5 ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THE LODGE
We pick up from hotels, apartments and private residences within Mombasa or Diani.
The driver will ask for the lead travelers name from the reception, please be ready at the hotel lobby.
We also pick up at the port and airport.
