This river-based adventure on the Nam Khan River offers a relaxed yet engaging way to experience Laos’ natural landscapes, combining gentle exploration with moments of light excitement suitable for families and small groups. Guests can choose a guided kayaking experience, beginning with a tuk-tuk transfer upstream before starting a two-hour descent through quiet river stretches and traditional Lao scenery, with approximately 45 minutes of active paddling starting around 2:00 PM under the guidance of an experienced instructor. Alternatively, tubing sessions are available for about 45 minutes, starting at either 11:30 AM or 2:00 PM, allowing participants to drift comfortably through mild rapids while staff ensure a smooth and safe journey downstream toward Nam Khan Gardens. With all equipment provided, supportive guidance throughout, and flexible time slots, the experience delivers an easygoing way to enjoy fresh air, scenic river views, and shared moments on the water without requiring prior experience.
You’ll be picked up directly from the Post Office in Luang Prabang by our private shuttle. Our driver will be waiting in the arrival area holding a sign with your name for easy identification.
