What to expect

  1. Capela Das Aparicoes
    15m
Visit the heart of one of the world’s most important pilgrimage sites — the Chapel of the Apparitions, built on the very spot where three shepherd children witnessed the Virgin Mary’s apparitions in 1917. Feel the serene atmosphere that continues to inspire millions of pilgrims, and take a moment of quiet reflection in this sacred place.
  2. Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima
    1h
Spend time exploring the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in the world, attracting millions each year. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, where devotion and history come together, and learn about the miraculous apparitions of the Virgin Mary to the three shepherd children — Lúcia, Francisco, and Jacinta — in 1917. Take in the peaceful atmosphere that has made Fátima a symbol of faith and hope for over a century.
  3. Batalha Monastery
    Pass by
Batalha Monastery is a magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the country’s finest examples of Gothic architecture. Built in the 14th century to commemorate Portugal’s victory at the Battle of Aljubarrota, this monumental complex stands as a masterpiece of devotion and artistry. Admire the intricate stonework of the Founder’s Chapel, where King João I, Queen Philippa of Lancaster, and their son, Prince Henry the Navigator, are laid to rest.
  4. O Sitio
    20m
Perched high above the Atlantic, Sítio da Nazaré offers one of Portugal’s most breathtaking coastal panoramas. From this dramatic cliff-top viewpoint, enjoy sweeping views over the beach below — a spot cherished by locals and surfers alike. Visit the Chapel of Memory, built by Dom Fuas Roupinho in the 12th century to honor the Virgin Mary after she saved him from falling into the sea, and admire the nearby Church of Our Lady of Nazaré, a graceful baroque sanctuary.
  5. Nazare
    1h 30m
Discover Nazaré, Portugal’s most iconic coastal village, where tradition and natural beauty meet. Once a humble fishing town, Nazaré is now world-famous for its golden beaches, dramatic cliffs, and record-breaking waves. Learn how local fishermen once hauled their colorful boats onto the sand to protect them from the fierce Atlantic, and soak in the authentic atmosphere of this seaside gem. Take time to enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of Nazaré’s traditional seafood restaurants, where the day’s fresh catch is served with ocean views that perfectly capture the spirit of coastal Portugal.
  6. Obidos Village
    1h
End your day in the enchanting medieval village of Óbidos, one of Portugal’s most picturesque and well-preserved towns. Enclosed within ancient stone walls, Óbidos is a maze of cobbled streets, whitewashed houses draped in flowers, and cozy artisan shops. Once gifted to Queen Isabel in the 13th century, the town became known as the “Wedding Gift Village.”
As you explore, soak in its timeless beauty and vibrant local culture — from charming bookstores and chocolate boutiques to lively festivals that fill the narrow lanes. To complete your visit, enjoy a tasting of the famous local liqueur, Ginjinha, served in a traditional shop that has perfected this sweet cherry recipe over generations.
