On the Hakone Pirate Ship cruise, travelers will embark on a memorable journey across the stunning Lake Ashi, a serene crater lake formed by a volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ago. The ship itself is designed to resemble a grand, old-world pirate vessel, complete with decorative masts and sails, creating a fun and unique atmosphere.

As the ship glides across the water, guests can take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, forested hills, and—on clear days—the iconic Mount Fuji towering in the distance. The gentle ride offers fantastic photo opportunities and a refreshing breeze as you soak in the natural beauty of the Hakone region. Whether you're relaxing on the open-air deck or enjoying the view from inside the cabin, this scenic cruise is both relaxing and visually breathtaking, making it a highlight of any trip to Hakone.

At the Owakudani Ropeway, travelers will embark on a thrilling aerial journey over one of Japan’s most fascinating natural landscapes. Suspended high above the volcanic valley in a comfortable cable car, you'll be treated to panoramic views of steam vents, bubbling hot springs, and jagged mountains formed by a powerful eruption over 3,000 years ago. As the ropeway ascends, the sight of Mount Fuji often looms majestically in the background on clear days, making it a perfect photo opportunity. The experience is both peaceful and exhilarating—offering a rare vantage point to witness Hakone's volcanic activity from above while gliding smoothly through the sky.
2h

At Owakudani Volcanic Valley, travelers step into one of Hakone’s most dramatic and iconic landscapes—formed over 3,000 years ago during a major volcanic eruption. As you arrive by ropeway, you'll witness plumes of sulfurous steam rising from the earth, giving the area a mysterious, almost otherworldly feel. The valley is still geothermally active today, and you’ll be able to walk along marked paths close to steam vents and bubbling hot springs, all while surrounded by rugged mountains.

One of the most popular experiences here is tasting the famous “Kuro-Tamago” or black eggs, which are boiled in the valley’s natural hot springs. The eggs turn black due to the sulfur in the water and are said to add seven years to your life when eaten—making it a fun and cultural treat not to be missed.

Owakudani also offers stunning panoramic views, especially of Mount Fuji on clear days, making it a perfect spot for memorable photos.
Gotemba Premium Outlets
4h · Admission ticket included

At Gotemba Premium Outlets, travelers will find themselves in one of Japan’s most iconic shopping destinations, nestled at the base of Mount Fuji. With over 200 stores featuring top global brands such as Nike, Coach, Gucci, and local Japanese designers, this expansive outdoor mall offers an unforgettable retail experience—especially with the majestic Mt. Fuji serving as a stunning backdrop for photos and relaxation.

For those seeking rest instead of retail, the onsen (hot spring) option provides a serene alternative. You can unwind in the soothing, mineral-rich waters of a traditional Japanese bathhouse, surrounded by peaceful nature and clear views of the mountains. The warm baths are known for their health benefits, including stress relief and improved circulation. Please note: The onsen experience is at your own expense (12 USD), and guests with tattoos may not be permitted entry at some facilities.
