What to expect

Begin your adventure at Rainforest Adventures St. Maarten – Rockland Estate, where you can explore the historic Emilio Wilson Museum and discover the heritage of this centuries-old estate.

Board the Soualiga Sky Explorer and begin your scenic journey up the mountainside, taking in spectacular panoramic views of St. Maarten and the surrounding Caribbean. Stop at the mid-station for the Schooner Ride, where you’ll hop into an inner tube and twist and slide through the curves and straightaways of a specially designed track.

Then, hop back aboard the Sky Explorer and continue toward Sentry Hill. Gear up and soar across the mountain ridge on the Sentry Hill Zipline before taking on the ultimate highlight: The Flying Dutchman, the world’s steepest zipline, with an exhilarating 2,800-ft (853 m) ride and 1,050-ft (320 m) elevation drop.

Allow up to 5 hours to enjoy the complete experience, depending on attendance and wait times at the park. When you're ready to leave, taxis are available outside Rockland Estate for the return trip to the cruise port or your next destination.
