Overview
We provide you with an experienced guide, a specialist in Mont Saint Michel, and a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with a driver. The vehicle is completely privatized for you.
We will pick you up from your hotel. Your guide speaks French, English and Spanish. Arriving at Mont Saint-Michel, our guide will take you through the city and advise you on all visits to museums, monuments as well as the best restaurants. Tickets for the Abbey visit are included as well.
Mont Saint Michel was one of the most fabulous creations of the Middle Ages and the Abbey was a major place of pilgrimage. You will, without a doubt, be amazed by the prowess of its monastic architecture seeming to emerge from the waters of the Bay. The first mention of the ramparts is quite old. In the 12th century, the mountain was besieged. But the construction of the ramparts really began in the 13th century and it was probably Saint Louis who became master of the region who reinforced them. Its ramparts will be enlarged over the centuries and the current enclosure dates mainly from the 100 Years' War.
