Overview

Discover Tetouan through both its UNESCO-listed Medina and its living artisan traditions on a small-group day trip from Tangier.

Explore the whitewashed Medina with a local guide on a 2-hour walking tour through traditional souks, historic streets and local neighborhoods. Along the way, discover Tetouan’s distinctive Andalusian heritage, culture and everyday life.

After free time for lunch, step inside a traditional zellij workshop for the highlight of the experience. Meet a local artisan, learn how Morocco’s iconic geometric mosaics are created, then choose your colors and pattern and make your own 15 × 15 cm zellij mosaic with step-by-step guidance. No previous experience is required.

Rather than simply seeing Moroccan craftsmanship, you’ll become part of the process—and take your handmade mosaic home as a unique souvenir.

Limited to just 8 travelers, this 6-hour experience combines Tetouan’s history, local life and hands-on Moroccan craftsmanship in one memorable journey.
