What to expect

  1. Puerto Plata

    From Amber Cove it's a 20 minute and from Taino Bay 5 minute drive to get to our first stop, the Parque Central, where you can see the St. Philip Apostle Cathedral (Catedral San Felipe), learn about local culture and the Dominican history. We continue on a walk along the unique Pink Street and the colorful Umbrella Street, ending with a visit to a local cigar factory and gift shop.
  2. Fortaleza San Felipe

    After a short drive along the Malecon, we'll arrive at the Fort San Felipe of Puerto Plata. Watching this historic site from outside offers an outstanding view of the Puerto Plata Harbor.
    From here we'll continue on a 30 minute drive to the Country World Adventure park.

    Next, we head to the Adventure Park (approximately 30 minutes drive) for a thrilling zip-lining experience over the tropical countryside, soaring through the sky on 3 ACCT Certified zip lines.
    We wrap up our day with a traditional Dominican meal (30 minutes) and well head back to Taino Bay (25 minutes) or Amber Cove (10 minutes).

AMBER COVE: Our meeting point is outside the cruise ports main exit gate, which is a 8-12 minute walk from the dock. Our guide will be holding a yellow "Country World Adventures" sign. TAINO BAY:
Our meeting point is outside the cruise ports main exit gate, which is a 10-15 minute walk from the dock. Our guide will be holding a yellow "Country World Adventures" sign. PLEASE CHOOSE THE TOUR TIME ACCORDINGLY TO YOUR SHIP ARRIVAL. FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOUR SHIP ARRIVES AT 9:00AM, PLEASE CHOOSE THE 9:00AM TOUR OPTION. PICK UP WILL ALWAYS BE 45 MINUTES AFTER SHIP ARRIVAL.
