Overview

A spectacle of history, nature and archaeology that merges into a unique cultural heritage of Roman times and the Neapolitan natural heritage. A victim of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., Pompeii is the only case of a city in the world that remained crystallized by lava in Roman times. Visit the workshops, the theatres, the baths and all the public areas of this city intact in time; they will take you back in time and make you relive the atmosphere of the time perfectly. The customs, the ways of life; all expertly narrated by our guides who will be able to take you back in time in these evocative discoveries.
Then later, thanks to a visit to Mount Vesuvius itself, you will be able to understand the space, time and manner of the eruption that led Pompeii to be the historical phenomenon it is today for the whole world. 4h · Admission ticket not included
Tourists will be picked up by a private tourist bus and taken to discover the archaeological excavations of Pompeii, a Unesco heritage site since 1997 and the third most important in the world. The tour, with a certified tourist guide, will take them on a visit to the most faithful reproduction of a Roman city, thanks to the state of preservation brought about by the layer of lava and ash that covered the city at the time of the volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The houses, the shops, the forums with the public buildings, the Roman amphitheatre with the Stabian Baths and the temples, up to the patrician villas and the Lupanare, will take tourists on a tour of the ancient city of Pompeii, catapulting them into that now lost civilisation and giving them a taste of the way of life of an era two thousand years old.
After that, you will be accompanied to a pizzeria for a pizza-lunch break with drinks lasting about an hour.
  2. Vesuvius National Park
    Pass by
At the end the bus will take you to an altitude of 1,000 meters to visit Mount Vesuvius. The Vesuvius Nature Park is a guarded, natural oasis stretching from the slope of the volcano to its crater, characterized by varied vegetation and various symbolic sculptures. Once you arrive at the entrance to Vesuvius, you will be given free time to make the ascent to the crater, and once at the top, you will be able to take advantage of the park's mountain guide's explanation and enjoy the beautiful view of the gulf from that height. The bus will be waiting for you at the entrance at the agreed time for your return to the pick-up point.
