Overview
This experience combines Costa Rica’s rainforest, wildlife, and local culture in one day. Travelers have the opportunity to explore a lush rainforest environment and observe wildlife in its natural habitat, including sloths, toucans, red-eyed tree frogs, and, with some luck, tapirs.
The experience also offers a taste of Costa Rican culture through two of the country’s most important products: coffee and cacao. Visit local plantations to learn how coffee and cacao are grown, harvested, and processed, then enjoy tastings including freshly prepared coffee with traditional homemade Costa Rican corn bread and locally made chocolate.
After a traditional Costa Rican lunch, the day continues with a visit to Llanos del Cortés Waterfall, one of Guanacaste’s most iconic waterfalls. Travelers can take photos, relax in the natural surroundings, and enjoy a refreshing swim beneath the waterfall.
