What to expect
Day 1: Pokhara to Sikles

Morning: You'll meet your guide at your hotel in Pokhara and start the scenic drive to Sikles. The drive takes around 4 hours, offering beautiful views of the countryside and distant mountain ranges. You'll pass through small villages, terraced fields, and lush forests on the way.
Afternoon: Arrive in Sikles, a charming Gurung village situated at an elevation of approximately 1,980 meters (6,496 feet). The village is known for its traditional architecture and warm hospitality. After lunch at a teahouse, take a short hike around the village to explore its culture and lifestyle. Enjoy the picturesque views of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himalayan ranges.
Evening: Relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere in Sikles.
Day 2: Sikles to Kapuche Glacier

Morning at around 8am, start your trek towards the Kapuche Glacier. The trail initially descends through lush forests, crossing a river, and then starts ascending gradually.
Midday: As you climb higher, the landscape changes, and you'll be surrounded by alpine vegetation and stunning mountain vistas. Along the way, you might encounter local shepherds with their herds of sheep and goats.
Afternoon: Reach Kapuche Glacier, a spectacular glacier lake at an altitude of about 2,600 meters (8,530 feet). Enjoy the breathtaking views of the glacier and the surrounding snow-capped peaks. Take some time to rest, have lunch, and savor the tranquil ambiance.

Late afternoon: Begin the trek back to Hugu, a small settlement located at a lower elevation. The return journey offers different perspectives of the landscape, and you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the mountains and forests.
Evening: Arrive at Hugu and settle in a teahouse or homestay for the night. Relax and share stories of your trekking experiences with fellow trekkers.
Day 3: Trek to Sikles and drive to Pokhara

Morning: at 7:30 am, start your trek back to Sikles. The trail retraces your steps through forests and charming villages. You'll have more opportunities to interact with the locals and learn about their culture and traditions.
Midday: Reach Sikles and have lunch at a local teahouse. Take some time to explore the village further or interact with the locals before bidding farewell to the mountains.
Afternoon: Drive back to Pokhara, enjoying the scenic landscapes one last time. The drive takes approximately 4 hours.
Evening: Arrive in Pokhara, where your memorable Sikles Kapuche Lake Glacier Trek comes to an end.
