  1. Koutoubia Mosque

The Koutoubia Mosque is the most important in Marrakech and was one of the largest in the Islamic world at the end of its construction in 1158.

The construction of the Koutoubia began in 1141 at the request of the Almohad caliph Abd al Mumin and particularly attracts attention for the height of its minaret – which is reminiscent of that of the Giralda – and for its pink sandstone color, typical of the city.

Its name, which means “booksellers’ mosque” in French, comes from the numerous book stalls which surrounded the monument after the end of its construction.
  2. Marrakech Herboristerie
    30m
Visit the argan oil cooperative to see the on-site production of argan oil which is rich in vitamin E and fatty acids.
Also discover the Berber pharmacy rich in natural plants.
  3. Bahia Palace
1h · Admission ticket not included
The Bahia Palace in Marrakech is a dazzling example of Moroccan architecture and design. Built in the late 19th century, it is a vast complex of gardens, courtyards and rooms that are full of intricate details and vibrant colors. This article will explore the history of the palace, its design and its importance in Moroccan culture.
  4. Jemaa el-Fnaa
    1h
Inscribed in 2008 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (originally proclaimed in 2001). Jemaa el-Fna Square is one of the main cultural spaces in Marrakech. Having become one of the symbols of the city since its founding in the eleventh century, it offers an exceptional concentration of Moroccan popular cultural traditions which are expressed through music, religion and various artistic expressions.
To end your excursion, stroll through the bustling souks, offering a wide range of local artisans and benefit from your driver's advice on the best stalls to visit.
